Projects
DAWNING’s projects are independent, nonpartisan, and non-ideological, in the tradition of social science in the public service. We do not engage in activism. Our work is guided by methodological rigor and a deep commitment to fairness. For us, a project is never finished: the realities we study continue long after publication or exhibition. Many of the investigations presented here remain open to revision and renewed engagement with the communities whose lives shaped the work.
